This unit, made during the 1970s and early 1980s was made from cast aluminium and was coloured silver, green and sometimes orange. The original tubes were made from stainless steel and were approximately 9 inches/22.86 cm long. |
Over the years, the expansion fluid inside the autovent cylinders is used. It is no longer elastic enough to open the vent sufficiently. In order to ensure a good ventilation of the greenhouse, the cylinder must be replaced.
