This unit was manufactured during the late 1970s and 1980s, and can be coloured silver or green. It was made from anodised pressed aluminium. The original power tubes were either green or black and were threaded at the end so they would fit into tube tube collar. |
Over the years, the expansion fluid inside the autovent cylinders is used. It is no longer elastic enough to open the vent sufficiently. In order to ensure a good ventilation of the greenhouse, the cylinder must be replaced.
